2016 Training Treats from Quattrain

As we race at a speedy pace into the middle of January – the traditional month of goal setting and resolutions, we at Quattrain are mindful that discovering or enhancing a new skill is a positive and achievable goal.

We have upcoming audio and editing sessions at Quattrain

As we race at a speedy pace into the middle of January – the traditional month of goal setting and resolutions, we at Quattrain are mindful that discovering or enhancing a new skill is a positive and achievable goal. As we convince ourselves that we really can survive on 400 calories squashed into a 4 hour window and a marathon by April having just achieved a brisk walk without bench stop around the park, the reality of enhancing a skill that will improve our professional options whilst sparking a creative passion seems realistic.

We’re working with interesting partners in some interesting places in February and all with radio theme!

Podcasting & audio recording

Podcasting & audio recording @ Open City Docs at UCL. Whether you’ve been bitten by the Serial bug or have a burning idea for a podcast for 2016, join us for a weekend course on Saturday Feb 27th to make that idea or interest a reality.

Editorial Essentials, RigTrain

@ Fitzrovia Centre, LONDON W1- February 4th

Find out how to make the most creative programmes you can, while going to the boundaries of what is editorially possible and legally safe. Talk to those who are involved in the decision making. This course provides an unmissable opportunity to ask your burning questions to a panel of experts from OFCOM, Roger Mahoney from BBC Editorial Policy, and Kevin Dawson from Whistledown Productions.

January Training

Our highlights this month are translating our media and broadcast skills to work with Imperial College and the Future Leaders Trust (working with Headteachers, investing in high-potential school leaders).

Imperial College Powerful Presentations Monday 18th January: This is a half day course where delegates will learn how to gain confidence when making presentations. There will be lots of tips from the media industry and delegates practice delivering a short presentation with the end result being filmed.
