An international group of leading academic researchers and the Lancet needed communications to launch its research findings to new audiences.
Quattrain's unique combination of skills meant that the team was able to provide media training, coordinate engagement with high-level policymakers, and synthesise complex academic concepts in to powerful and targeted messages for key audiences.
A Lancet Commission on Climate Health was set up to produce landmark research that would change policy globally. The messaging needed to be simple and non academic, to engage with a mainstream local and international media audience.
Quattrain managed the international media campaign for the Climate Health Commission. We developed key messages and a full international media campaign, including press releases, launch, press conferences in 3 countries. We partnered with Climate Nexus in the US to change the conversation around climate change and its impact on health.
The campaign gained high profile media coverage across 22 countries, continues to be cited in articles globally and inspired the founding of the Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change.
